La  fr\u00e9n\u00e9sie immobili\u00e8re qui a gagn\u00e9 plusieurs villes canadiennes au cours  des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies est devenue une source de pr\u00e9occupation  importante. Elle fait maintenant l\u2019objet d\u2019une surveillance attentive en  raison des cons\u00e9quences que l\u2019\u00e9clatement d\u2019une bulle sp\u00e9culative  pourrait avoir sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie du Canada. On s\u2019attarde surtout aux moyens  \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre pour \u00e9viter qu\u2019une telle situation ne se produise :  resserrement des conditions d\u2019acc\u00e8s au pr\u00eat hypoth\u00e9caire, rel\u00e8vement  progressif des taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat, taxes sur les investissements \u00e9trangers.  Mais cela tend \u00e0 occulter le fait que l\u2019activit\u00e9 immobili\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0  un lot de probl\u00e8mes, m\u00eame en l\u2019absence d\u2019une crise \u00e9conomique.
